We had the privilege of attending Central Penn Business Journal’s Business of the Year Awards. It was a great honor to be in a room surrounded by prominent business owners, each waiting in anticipation to see if their company recognized publicly for their achievements over the years. Shire Interactive was proud to be selected as one of six finalists in the “Emerging Business of the Year” category. This award was given as part of the CPBJ Business of the Year program to recognize companies that have been in business for five years or less and are recognized as “Rising Stars” within their industries and communities.

John Hedrick
John graduated from Taylor University with a BS in Computer Science and a focus on computer graphics programming. John came to Shire in 2007 as our Lead Programmer. He recently created the Shire Interactive Content Management System and continues to maintain and improve the system.
John married his wife, Tabetha, in 2006 and they live together with their two dogs, Sugar and Abby. Outside of work, he spends a large portion of his time working with teenagers through various youth centers, churches, and other local organizations.
