Go Mobile

Here’s a scenario: you go to a website on your mobile phone and in order to see the website you have to scroll everywhere just to find the navigation. The pictures are strewn haphazardly about and it doesn’t take long for you to leave the website because you can’t find what you want. It is very apparent that we are a generation of speed and convenience. No one wants to take time to scroll around a non-compliant website to find what they need.

So, how many people are actually using their mobile phones to browse the web? Is this really an issue? According to www.digital-lifestyles.info there are 63.2 million people accessing the web from their phones and over a third of these use it everyday! Also, www.admob.com has metrics for how many advertisements are served over the mobile web. Their number for the month of July 2009 was 4,818,418,482! There is a definite need for your website to look cohesive when someone pulls it up on their mobile device.
